Become a Grateful Giver

Monthly Seventh Tradition Giving

When many of us first reached out for help, someone answered the phone. Someone told us where the next meeting was. Someone made sure there was literature available. Someone was there because those who came before us supported our Central Office through the Seventh Tradition.

Today, we have the opportunity to do the same for the next alcoholic who reaches out for help.

Self-Support in Action

Our Central Office exists to serve the Fellowship. We answer calls from newcomers and members, provide meeting information, maintain our website, make literature and anniversary items available, and support the groups that carry AA’s message throughout our area.

These services are possible only because AA members and groups voluntarily support them through the Seventh Tradition.

A Grateful Giver is simply an AA member who chooses to make a recurring monthly Seventh Tradition contribution to help sustain this work.

Why Monthly Giving?

Monthly contributions provide a dependable source of support that allows our Central Office to plan responsibly and continue providing services every day of the year.

No contribution is too small. When many members give what they can, the result is a strong, self-supporting Central Office that is able to serve our Fellowship and fulfill its primary purpose.

Your Contribution Helps

Your monthly Seventh Tradition contribution helps us:

  • Answer the phone when someone is looking for help.
  • Keep meeting information accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain our website and online meeting resources.
  • Make recovery literature and anniversary items available.
  • Provide services and support to local AA groups.
  • Meet the operating expenses that keep our Central Office open and available.

Every contribution helps ensure that the hand of AA remains available to the alcoholic who still suffers.

In Keeping with Our Traditions

In accordance with AA’s Seventh Tradition, contributions are accepted only from AA members and AA groups. We do not accept contributions from non-members or outside organizations.

If you would like to become a Grateful Giver, you can choose a monthly contribution in any amount that is comfortable for you. You may change or discontinue your contribution at any time.

Thank you for helping ensure that our Central Office remains available—today, tomorrow, and for the next person seeking recovery.

Every contribution, regardless of the amount, helps ensure someone is there to answer the next call for help.
